I was pretty depressed when our first dinner was bad. But in the end I think it was good to show that we're not superhuman Spain experts! Hope you all enjoyed the video! Next week we're off to the mountains of Madrid 🙂
My wife does it very well, too!
Loved your trip to Galicia, especially the Albariño vineyard. I also appreciated the fact that you included a restaurant that got a not so great review.
I have been wanting to visit Spain, Madrid, for a long time. Just found your channel, & love it. Thank you for a great series. I will certainly book your tour when I come to Spain. Love from Vancouver, Canada.
My boyfriend and I are coming to Spain in September 2021 and I have become obsessed with your channel! It will be my tenth time visiting Spain, his first, so I am really wanting to help to make his visit wonderful. I became a member and so enjoy the great enthusiasm and advice and humor! Graciás!
Sigh! I love Galicia!
Love your videos! My grandparents are from Galicia and I can’t wait to go and visit. Stay Safe!!!
The first weekend of August is the Albariño festival that lasts 5 days
Gracias for letting us explore Spain with you. Can you show us on a map when you travel to new places?
No entiendo nada
thank you for your video,be safe,be careful~
You two are ultra adorable (sorry, but it’s true)! Your videos make me want to visit Spain, but also appease my wanderlust during Covid-times. So, thank you.
Some of my best meals ever have been in the Paradores of Spain!
Great video as usual! Do you have a list of the things you did and where you ate while here? I'm creating a wish list from your videos. Thanks & as always I love getting the video notifications! -Heather H
The Albarinho (alvarinho)and green wine it's from Portrugal, not Spain!!!!!
The Galician "alvariño" is not bad, but the best white wine in Spain I think is the "malvasía" from the Canary Island of Lanzarote.
When it comes to seafood, Galician is the best.
James, did you think the off-meal at Posta dp Sol was just a bad night for them or did you get the impression that it was fundamentally dodgy? They have pretty high reviews on Google
Your videos are great even when things go wrong!
My rule of thumb is to never go to a slow restaurant, especially if there is no one eating there. It’s empty for a reason!
I'm from Galicia, just near Santiago de Compostela, would love to show you this beautiful city if you're up to it!
You two were really nice about the bad meal. You could have raked that place over the coals, but you chalked it up to just a bad night. That was very good of you.
That island food looked amazing. Razor clams – my favourite and paired with an albariño- perfection!!!
How can you go to Galicia if we are in quarantine? Is it possible? I didn't know it
You are out of touch with reality.
That’s what I love about Spain, every Region has its very own culture and language! Can’t wait to come back!! Will you guys explore Mallorca in the near future? 😉
How strange that you fell for the "by weight" tourist trap!
Superb. Notes made for visit next Autumn. 'Arousa means "bride" In Arabic.
Even the most prolific travellers sometimes get it wrong, ita all part of the journey and makes you appreciate the good choices!
Saludos.
Bello Cambados,Nuestra Ría de Arousa.Enjoy It!!
A fantastic channel
PARADORES awesome places
La tierra más hermosa del mundo!!
I am addicted to seafood..I think I need to make this restaurant my next place of visit when I am in Spain
Can’t wait to go back. Love watching your content❤️best wishes from Shellharbour Australia xx
Always beautiful. Galicia. I'm really miss cee, muxia, fisterra .
Great video, well done for keeping it real. Spain has sh*t elements but overall is great. But without the sh*t its not authentic.
Cambados,Galicia looks like an interesting place to visit. I wonder if you traveled to the Canary Islands,& experienced the history, culture, & food there.
Love all your videos guys..enjoy the paradores videos
Ah! And if you go through Pontevedra, eat at Osteria Romasa (about 10 minute car ride from city center)
Beautiful place. I was never a fan of octopus, it was always to rubbery for me. But this one looked pretty tasty. Maybe I will give it a try next time when I come to Spain.
Finally, no pork (the delicious looking chuletas on the previous video were an omen)!! there is hope still lol (I have a lot of trouble digesting pork even though it is delicious and I LOVE seafood), great video you guys. I also want to make a special mention about that first restaurant experience, we really don't know how covid has upended that managers life, and stress well, it can make you act in a weird way so, let us keep that in mind (he truly seemed in a state of hyper-vigilance, a clear indicator of massive stress) just food for thought
