  1. I love Argentina! I lived there 9 years – Buenos Aires is a beautiful city, the food is fantastic, and the people are very nice! I remember we were able to stay on our tourist visas for 6 months, then we had to cross an international boundary, going to Montevideo, Urugay, and returning to Argentina, we were good for another 6 months. We took the Buquebus from Bs. As. to Montevideo – an overnight trip! It was an experience (a good one, actually) I'll never forget! Eventually, we got permanent residency in Argentina, and lived there 9 years! (My oldest son was born in Bs. As., downtown in the Hospital Aleman (German Hospital), June 29, 1986, the day Argentina beat Germany in the Word Cup! I will never forget that day!) We had 3 sons born in while living there. It's an adventure well worth the trip!
