  1. Trying to improve every inch of their country. Even for people who have done wrong. That is what other countries should have. Treating all humans with humanity. With security, safety, and equality. With those high taxes, you get what you pay for.

  2. I am from Norway, I think US prisons are too strickt, BUT Norwegian prisons are too humane 🙁 . I am not a criminal, and I will neve gonna be one, but I think the standard of this prison looks much more luxorius than my flat :’( We have a SAD and NAIVE system in this country , this is not a punnishment, its a vacation, only ounishment is to be isolated by the freedom, but othervise, its luxary. Ofcourse, I will never be a prisoner, 1) I am not criminal, and I dont like criminallity. 2) Its isolation from freedom.

  3. When you take everything from a man who put very little value on life to begin with you are creating a bigger monster…I spent time in prison for a non violent offense and I came out of prison seasoned in the art of violence it is the only way to survive these places in the United States. I would of never imagined if you took criminals and taught them trades and a better way of life it would prevent them from reoffending who would of thought…The US prison system is also a private industry so it is not set up to keep people out of jail it is the exact opposite it makes you worst and in turn you come back more often well they make more money.

  4. This is great because a lot of criminals come from rock bottom and being in a place like this shows them what it's like to live as a normal human. It's no surprise that people locked up in American prisons usually don't imrpove.

  5. I don´t think the system doesn´t work but just imagine being a family member of someone who has been murdered and the murderer living a normal life like they are held in a hotel. I don´t know it just doesn´t seems very fair for me, but just my opinion.
