ESMA – Argentina&#39s Human Legal rights Museum





30-six many years soon after the start out of the 1976-83 military dictatorship, Marc Rogers visits ESMA with Víctor Basterra, a survivor of the infamous previous clandestine detention centre in Buenos Aires, which has been converted into a memorial for the thirty,000 disappeared during the darkest chapter in Argentina’s record.

  1. Funny, I turned up here thanks to Pope Francisco – I didn't know about this esma place yet, just enough about junta, since we've had similar in Poland back in the days. But – ours didn't kill that much. Just broke people's will and lives and careers etc… So now I know more about your history, dear Argentinians, thanks, Pope! 🙂

  2. A powerful video – I wanted to visit the ESMA when I was last in Buenos Aires but did not know if I could handle it. I will definitely go next trip. Kudos to you for posting this.
