#Egypt #vacation My journey to Egypt, March 11 via 24, 2018

Trip began with a Nile Cruise on the Sonesta Moon Goddess. We frequented Aswan, the Nubian Village, Edfu, then sailed on to Luxor to check out the Valley of the Kings, and Queens and Luxor Temple. In many areas pics were not permitted unless of course you paid further. We also stopped at an alabaster factory, fragrance factory and did a whole lot of shopping.

When we returned to Cairo we saw a couple belly dancers: Aziza, Camellia, and Dina. We experienced a rapid tour of the Eygptian museum and saw the King Tut screen. We also frequented Islamic Cairo, Dashour and went to a carpet college to see how they make the carpets. I took a day journey to Alexandria and frequented the well-known library of Alexandria and the Citadel. Again in Cairo, we did additional shopping at the well-known souk, Khan El Khalili and saw a wonderful tanoura exhibit (no video clip permitted). And of program we rode camels an the pyramids.

Although in Cairo, we stayed at Yasmina of Cairo’s B & B. Our tour manual in Luxor was Ahmed Wahab, and our tour manual in Cairo was Nibal Gouda.

History new music by Samir Srour.

  1. This was fantastic!! Thank you so much for sharing! This is probably the most of Egypt I will ever get to see. It all looks so amazing! Alexandria is so beautiful!! I guess I'm used to seeing Cairo, which of course is amazing also. What a trip!

  2. Thank you for sharing your trip with us. The views from the boat looked stunning. Did you feel safe? I know they're spending a lot of money on protecting tourists, but I'm still a bit hesitant to travel there.

  3. Wow Wow Wow! I want to go there! I am so happy you had a good time! I need to find some travel companions to go places with. Did you buy any candles while you were there? The green coffee sounded interesting.
