Welcome back to the 41st episode of my $10 Series! Today I take you around the bustling city of Cairo, Egypt to see how far I can stretch $10USD (PS: I got 10 items!).
I actually went to Cairo the first time in 2015 – way back when I was a budget backpacker and travel blogger (before I owned a video camera). I was young and naïve and to be honest, I didn’t have a great time here.
But now, I’m back with fresh eyes and new perspectives, and let’s just say that I’m enjoying Cairo about 10X as much as I did 5 years ago. It’s also a very special time to visit because there are (literally) ZERO TOURISTS HERE, so I had the Pyramids of Giza all to myself. As long as you take precautions (wear mask, avoid physical contact, wash hands frequently), then traveling is possible right now amid this new normal.
Have you ever been to Cairo? Please comment below and tell me what are your favorite things to do in the city!

Special thanks to my buddies Mohamed Ali and Abdra for the drone shots after mine was confiscated!
