  1. It's interesting in 2020 in the information age, people don't know the people who built the pyramids NEVER called themselves Egyptian. The empire was called Kemet. The "ancient egyptians" never heard the word Egyptian because Egypt comes from a Greek word. All verifiable information but lost to the masses. But I guess historical accuracy doesn't matter, so we'll continue to disrespect them like calling Native Americans Indians.

  2. I think the Egyptians just stopped believing in Ra and etc. They just gave up that religion. Maybe society changed.. No need for all these ridiculous temples and inequality in societies and deifying kings. I think abrahamic religions brought the downfall of Egypt. It's revolutionary. 1 god and u pray to the lord anywhere. And then climate change probably played a part. When there is no food or predictability then its hard to care about god kings and what they have to say.
