#Egypt #travel Squash: CIB PSA World Tour Finals 2020-21 – Women's Day 4 RoundUp

Rewatch the best of the action from day 3 of the CIB PSA World Tour Finals in Cairo, Egypt. *Due to travel restrictions to Egypt the commentators are not on-site, so their audio quality is a little lower than usual. We’ve also had to send a much-reduced team, so highlights edits are taken directly from the livestream, rather than manual recordings.

00:00 – [1] Nour El Sherbini (EGY) v [3] Nouran Gohar (EGY)
05:30 – [2] Hania El Hammamy (EGY) v [7] Joelle King (NZL)
09:35 – [4] Amanda Sobhy (USA) v [5] Sarah-Jane Perry (ENG)

  1. Sherbini chooses to pick her prime performance during selective competition… Her focus probably more to world championships and major events that have greater impact to her ranking…

  2. Egyptian crowds are a miserable bunch aren’t they? This why squash needs to move beyond Egypt. They are ones holding the sport back.

  3. I think the crowds are just terrible…they're missing the point of watching pro squash .. either stay, watch and appreciate or just leave…it's an insult to the players…I've written this before but if you appreciate good squash then applaud regardless of who is playing.

  4. I was surprised at Kings performance, though I wonder if it's conserving her energy, though to capitulate a lead like that isn't really indicative of that. Hopefully, she regroups to do better next round.
