  1. Hey Kara I noticed you take a lot of your pics with camera sideways. I know u do it for hight of pic but what do u do in post with it? Is there a way to get the width back or do you leave it like it is?

  2. My wife and I were in the exact same sites you were in 2008. There were wall to wall tourists at every location. How lucky you were to visit Egypt and have so much privacy. What a wonderful country. We would return there in a minute. Keep your great videos coming…take care.

  3. Dang it! You’ve given away the best secret when traveling…get up early and have the place to yourself! Nevertheless, awesome video so you’re forgiven. Hey, seriously the video is totally stunning but Peter McKinnon just showed a great and easy hack for removing light flicker like you had with the tomb lighting. Just an FYI.

  4. Well done for using the local ferry , It is so cheap i always use this ferry when i am in Luxor …. The best time to visit the Valley is either first thing in the morning before it gets too hot or last thing as you did . Visitor numbers have hardly picked up since my last visit in October 2015 . I highly recommend actually staying in apartments on the West Bank I used a https://www.flatsinluxor.co.uk/ The apartments are fully equipped and a couple have swimming pools If required Jane will have her staff prepare dinner , Lunch for you on the rooftop dining area . The owner Jane Akshar is British and she very knowledgeable about the many sites in Luxor Jane has lived in Luxor for over ten years and is highly respected by the locals .The prices for apartments are very reasonable and the best thing is peace and quiet and no hassle from Caleche of Falucca owners . The apartments are wheelchair friendly which Jane has made a personal crusade to make the temples more accessible for the disabled She has had full support of the Minister of Antiquities who Jane has met several times . Please if anyone is contemplating Visiting Luxor think about staying on the West Bank you wont be disappointed.

  6. 2.24 you can see they had same columns like the old buildings throughout Europe, these are definitely same or similar decorations. So Egypt was connected to Europe. It was similar religion old civilisation.

  7. I noticed that the email saying this NEW video was up led me right to the video. My YouTube “page” listed the video and when clicked went right to it. However, on your YouTube channel, to which I subscribe, clicking on the video brought up an ad first. I don’t know if that means anything. Maybe someone with a better understanding can use that. Info. PS loved the video.

  8. The best advice I ever got in Luxor was from a taxi driver as we passed McDonalds. "Don't get the fishburger", he said. Unfortunately, it was my first time venturing out after having been laid low for 3 days with food poisoning. I'd already had the fishburger …

  9. Great video! I would give the same advice for Egypt! Get up early to see everything as it is cooler and less people. Totally worth it! Karnak Temple and Abu Simbel are great as well! Looking forward to the next video!
