#Egypt #journey TEMPLES OF LUXOR: HATSHEPSUT, LUXOR, and KARNAK | Egypt Journey Vlog

Soon after a week diving the Red Sea, it was time to discover what Egypt has to offer you on land!

We took a 4-hour car or truck journey across desert and mountains from the port metropolis Hurghada to the metropolis of Luxor (known in ancient instances as Thebes). Spanning the east bank and west bank of the Nile River, this was a capital of ancient Egypt. Nowadays, it can be residence some of the biggest and most well-preserved tombs and temples from the new, middle, and outdated kingdom.

In our whirlwind, one particular day tour of Luxor, we observed: Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Luxor Temple, and Karnak Temple. It was an Astounding day. These ancient Egyptian temples and tombs are remarkably well-preserved, and seriously remarkable. Nothing like wandering all over a wreck that is about 3000 years outdated to give you some perspective on life!

Chris and Michelle Go Areas is a collection of vlogs documenting our travels across the globe. We’re on a 6 thirty day period sabbatical from work and intend to soak up each and every moment. Subscribe to comply with our adventures!

  1. SOOO JEALOUS! Egypt has been on our bucket list for so long, but we still have not made it there. Cannot wait to see all your vlogs! Lol – I want to go to school and on a field trip to ancient Egyptian ruins too. So lucky you got the river boat to yourselves, everything looks so picturesque. Did you guys book a private tour?

  2. This is the top of my bucket list (Cal) – soooo jealous. Easily one of your best videos too, a touch of great comedy and always getting those incredible shots!
