Tour de Spain 2003

The 58th Vuelta a España (Tour of Spain), a very long-distance bicycle phase race and just one of the three grand excursions, was held from six September to 28 September 2003. It consisted of 21 stages covering a overall of 2,957 km (one,837 mi), and was gained by Roberto Heras of the US Postal biking workforce.

Isidro Nozal guide the typical classification for a lot of the race until succumbing to the tension posed by Roberto Heras who shut the hole to Nozal above the ultimate times and took the jersey in the ultimate time demo. The factors jersey was gained by Erik Zabel from Germany, the mountain jersey was gained by Félix Cárdenas from Colombia and the combination jersey was gained by Alejandro Valverde. was the winner of the workforce position. Alessandro Petacchi, an Italian sprinter gained 4 stages.

  1. I am really grateful for all your uploads Steven, but this one is particularly close to my heart. I have a huge sentiment for this race and Nozal used to be one of my favourite riders. ONCE must have been really 'prepared' well for this race though 😉 Keep it up please and thank you!!!
