For months we prepared bodily and mentally for our trekking experience in the Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. For me it was the next time executing the total circuit trek after I did the circuit back in 2013. The Torres del Paine circuit is also identified as the „O“ owing to the shape of the path – it also signifies the extension of the „W“ trek which is most well-known mountaineering route in Chile.
Just before heading into the park we prepared in Puerto Natales in which we acquired all supplies desired and planned out our trip and route. We took the early bus into the park and still left all the stuff we did not will need for the trek at the Resort Las Torres in which we were being intended to keep after the complete of the trek.
This element of the trip was executed in 8 times and this is what we noticed:
– Torres del Paine National Park
– Resort Las Torres
– Campamento Serón
– Refugio Dickson
– Southern Patagonian Ice Subject
– Campamento Los Perros
– Glaciar Los Perros
– Puerto Natales
– Campo Hielo Sur
– Campamento Paso
– Glaciar Grey / Grey Glacier
– Refugio Grey
– Refugio Paine Grande
– Campamento Italiano
– Mirador Britanico & French Valley / Valle Frances
– Refugio Los Cuernos
– Refugio Chileno
– Campamento Torres (CONAF)
– Lago Nordernskjöld
– Base Las Torres
– Valle Ascencio
– Lago Pehoe
– Paso John Gardner
