Castelvecchio is a castle in Verona, northern Italy. It is the most significant military design of the Scaliger dynasty that dominated the town in the Center Ages.
The castle is potent and compact in its size with incredibly minor decoration – 1 sq. compound designed in pink bricks, 1 of the most prominent examples of Gothic architecture of the age, with imposing M-formed merlons working together the castle and bridge walls. It has 7 towers, a superelevated continue to keep with 4 primary properties within. The castle is surrounded by a ditch, now dry, which was as soon as filled with waters from the close by Adige.
