  1. I agree with every choice that Bryan made but Willemse he is definitely not good enough for this Lions Tour his kicking game is too weak, he doesn't have a cool head in the game at 10 he wants to step every defender that's in front of him because he thinks his sidestep are as good as Kolbe's or something and gives a lot of hospital passes he is not ready…

  2. Not even the Stormers are picking Willemse at 10, I don't mind him at 15 tough. Am should be in the mix, but he feels a little short on form, but him or Kriel and we should be fine. I think most of the team is fine although Eben, Loodt and Pollard should make it. I would just have Morne Stein as backup 10 and one of Willemse/Fassi/Le Roux at 15. I rate Coetsee highly, but no way he is bumping any of the loosies, 2 are way too good and the 3rd is the captain. Pretty much our world cup team

  3. Are we going to be as beefed up and hard like we were at the world cup? How long will the squad be together? Colby is the best running back in the world by a long way and great in the air.whst a brain

  4. How Habana can pick the dancing fairy at number 10 beats me?? He cant kick he cant pass the wings rarely see the ball he disrupts the game. Proof of the pudding is what have the stormers and wp done with him at 10?? SWEET BLOW ALL.

  5. Willemse at 10 no ways. I am not a fan of Morné Steyn but I will ruther let him play at 10 and elton on the bench then I now we can win.We also need Frans Steyn for the long distance penalty kicking

  7. Willemse at 10 would be suicide. Pollard if fit Jantjies if not with Morne on the bench. Andre Oosthuizen at 12. Willie definitely at 15.

  8. Not willemse !!

Pollard (if ready) otherwise Elton , Morne , Rob , Chris and probably like a handful more that im not thinking of before you pick Willmse for 10…
maybe for 15 after Willie and Frans though ..

  10. Too many injuries for Boks to be competitive. Never mind the lack of games/playing time. Pieter Steph and Handre in particular will be sorely missed if not fit. SA RUGBY does not have the same depth the Lions has to choose from. Remember their third/fourth choice for any position is still usually a starter for his home nation, with a lot of international caps/ experience to his name. A fourth choice selection for the Boks will typically have very few, if any caps and very ltd test experience. I still think with their best players the Boks can still win the series…..

  11. If the Lions squad has any England players, then SA have a chance because those England players will be shaking as soon as they see a Team wearing Green and Gold. The scars will be there for all to see.

    13. Jeremy Ward.
    14. Cheslin Kolbe
    15. Fassi.

  14. I like Habana's team but I'd go with Marx at hooker, Etzabeth ahead of Mostert (he will be fit) and Pollard at fly half (he will be fit too).

That said, this tour SHOULD NOT go ahead. The Boks have had close to no rugby for 2 years and will be seriously undercooked. It'll be an embarrassment.

  15. The Lions would absolutely love Damian Willemse at flyhalf. He's still young, talented and his time will come. Starting him now would shatter his confidence. Plus, his kicking isn't up to scratch.

  17. Willemse is a shocking choice… Simply not good enough. He basically has one move: Try sidestep every defender with a hospital pass to the support. Sorry but he's a bad player with nothing indicating BMT necessary for the Lions.
