  1. Gosh that cable car, with only a single tower is both impressive and a little anxiety-inducing. I know Germans have a reputation as world-class engineers. But my goodness, the thought of that cable wearing out, snapping and plunging people down is unnerving. I'm sure it gets regular maintenance, but nothing is perfect.
