In a new exhibition at the British Museum six hundred years of history are explored in objects ranging from art by Holbein and the Bauhaus – to the gates of a concentration camp. They’ve all been chosen by museum director Neil MacGregor, the man who bought us the hugely popular ‘A History of the World in 100 Objects’.
