3 Reasons Why South Africa Is Seen As Dangerous

South Africa, located on the southern tip of the African continent, is full of majestic wild animals and amazing natural scenery. On safari you may be lucky enough to see the big five animals: the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and cape buffalo.

One thing that visitors may be wary of, is South Africa’s unfortunate reputation for being a violent and dangerous country.

South Africa has a notably high rate of murders, assaults, rapes and other violent crimes, compared to most countries.

  1. So yes there is a lot of violence but this is primarily centred in the extremely poor urban slums. Tourist spots are heavily guarded and many who have a bit of savvy will find it very easy to navigate. This is really all just what happens in the slums and some townships. Sadly you are even unlikely to see a lot of the poverty as it is in very specific areas… but supporting a crazy video like this you are keeping much needed tourism simply worsening poverty… Police also dont hassle tourists. This is really one of the worst videos even

  2. There are safer places in South Africa. But South Africa is still dangerous.I do not like those people who talks about bad things of South Africa there are safer towns. If you wanna be safe in South Africa.Move to the Northern Cape or Free State. The Garden Route is also a good choice for safety and if you want peacefulness
